At the Lilydale Park in St. Paul, several outcrops of limestone from the Ordovician period occur. It is an old quarry of a brickyard. Various types of fossils can be found in the limestone. It is necessary to arrange a Fossil Permit in advance.
Caution! Due to a fatal accident caused by a landslide in 2013, the park is still closed. See the Website for more information.
