Location description

In a quarry near Seneca Falls limestone from the Onondaga formation, middle Devonian period are exposed. At the south side of the quarry at the top there is a goniatite rich layer. Ask for permission before entering. In closeby Fayette is an old quarry where the same sediments are exposed.
