The Algarve is located in the south of Portugal. Along the coast you can find large sea urchins and other fossils on the beach or in the cliffs. The sediments are found between Quarteira and Alvor, and the Ponta da Piedade cape near Lagos. On the Praia de Galé beach near Pera I found many nice fossils.
