Hona is an association for and by people with a strong interest in fossils, minerals, geology, archeology and nature.

Hona stands for the abbreviation of the Latin translation of Man and Nature (Homo et Natura). She is a socio-cultural association which aims to generate interest in the nature in all its aspects, and in particular the possible interactions between man, nature and the landscape, both past, present, and the future.

Hona organises monthly field trips, exhibits, fossil show. Also they publish a magazine four times a year. Hona is a member of the Belgian Council for Earth Sciences (RAW / CST) and endorses their code of honour for amateur geologists.
