The main Natural History Museum of The Netherlands. A museum where the history of the Earth is covered in all its facets. This museum is also a bookstore with a lot of literature on fossils and minerals. The permanent exhibition "Oerparade" recounts the history of the Earth and the development of life. From Big Bang to the creation of man. The 18 meter long Camarasaurus is on display, as well as mosasaurs. Towering above the tree of life that dramatically shows the evolution of Life on Earth. The huge tree connects the Oerparade and the Nature Theater. Evolution, mineralogy and geology are also discussed in detail. Also you can see the skull of the Homo erectus (Java man).
