Location description:

Meckley quarry is a limestone quarry (along with other minerals) near Mandata, Pennsylvania. The limestone here is some 400 million years old (Devonian). In the quarry one can find different kinds of minerals.

From Pillow in Northumberland county, Pennsylvania, go north on Route 225. Just short of the town of Mandata is the quarry. The coordinates are GPS 40 40' 27" N and 76 50' 02" W.
