Near Lezant at the Greystone quarry building material is mined. The area has been mined in the past for Lead, Copper and Zinc. The north-south veins where these metals occur are also exposed in the Greystone quarry. In these veins various minerals occur. Request permission before entering the quarry.

Lezant is located in the east of Cornwall in the southwest of Britain. The quarry is located northeast of Lezant.Drag the map and zoom in or out for the best view of this locality.
The veins contain mainly Quartz, Chalcopyrite, Calcite, Galena and Sphalerite. In total, more than 60 minerals are known from this locality.
