Location description:

The quarry Mina Ampliación a Victoria Navajun is known worldwide for its pyrite. The pyrite is extracted from specific layers for the mineral trade. It is also possible to search yourself for a fee. The pyrite occurs in limestone deposits from the Cretaceous period.
