Location description

In Aust a cliff exposes sediments from the Triassic period. Under the northern Severn bridge you can find various fossils.

From the north in direction Aust: At the roundabout take road A403 (Aust). Immediately take the exit to the secondary road down to the river. The best collecting is on the beach.

Bones and teeth of reptiles like Ichtyosaur and Plesiosaur, shark teeth and fish remains from the Triassic period.
