Finds

The Puez Formation (Early Cretaceous) is well-known for its ammonite fauna, but it also comprises echinoid taxa specific to this region (Absurdaster). Als bivalves (Parvamussium), crinoids, corals, foraminifera and ichnofossils can be found. The underlying Biancone Formatin (Late Jurassic), which also surfaces here, is also said to comprise fossils
