At a large road cut at St. Leon many marine fossils can be found in limestone of the Richmond group from the Ordovician period. It is advised not to dig here, but only collect at the surface.

St. Leon is located in the southeast of the state of Indiana. The road cut is located 5 kilometers north of St. Leon along Highway 1.
