Location description

In a quarry of Vulcan Co. near Racine, dolomite from the Niagara formation, part of the Silurian period is exposed. The upper part of the quarry is most fossiliferous.

Racine is located in the southeast of Wisconsin. The quarry is located north of racine, along the road to Lake Milwaukee.
