In quarries near Clarita sediments from the Haragan and Bois d' Arc formations from the lower Devonian period are exposed. The site is known for its beautiful trilobites.
Bob Caroll is digging in the quarries for trilobites. There are cleaned and sold at fossil fairs. Sometimes you can collect here yourself with a local rock club.
