Location description

In Frick sediments from the upper Triassic period are exposed in the Gruhalde quarry. In the village of Frick there is a Saurian museum. See http://www.sauriermuseum-frick.ch. Collecting in the quarry itself is not allowed, but there is a site (klopfplatz) where you can look for fossils in fossil containing rocks.
