Location description

In the East Bethany area in the state of New York there are several natural exposures and roadcuts exposing sediments from the Hamilton group from the middle Devonian period. For example the Wanakah shales from the Ludlowville formation is exposed.

East Bethany is located in the west of the state of New York, about 70 kilometers east of Buffalo. West of East Bethany is an old railroad which cuts through a hill.
