Location description

In a quarry from the Dyckerhoff AG company, limestones from the Cenomanian until the Turonian (part of the Cretaceous period) are exposed. Many fossils are found here. The sediments have been disturbed by folding. The fossils occur in specific layers, other layers contain almost no fossils.
