This is probably a temporary location in the south of France. In 2005 a roundabout was being build. The rocks were dumped south of the Intermarche supoermarket. Most fossils could be found between the dumped rocks.
In Espéraza there is also a small museum where you can see the Dinosaur fossils froim the Aude valley. The museum is located at the Avenue de Chalabre. The excavations itself can be visitted in july and august.

Espéraza is located in the south of France, about 100 kilometres southeast of Toulouse. Follow road D118 from Carcassone to Quillan in the south. Between the villages Couiza and Espéraza roadworks were near the Intermarche supermarket (situation 2005). The site is near the roundabout. You can park next to the supermarket.
This probably is a temporary location. The area where the rocks were dumped will be built upon in the future. Possibly it will be possible to collect fossils in the rockface.
There is also an old quarry. From Espéraza take the road Avenue de Carcassone (D12) in direction Montazels. Near the railroad go left (road D51) in direction Antugnac. Just before Antugnac there is an old quarry at your right. In the quarry you can find gastropods. In the quarry there is also dumped material from the roadworks near the supermarket in wich you can find fossils.
