Comments:
This is a heteromorphous ammonite from the Maastrichtian, Formation of Maastricht, Kunrade Facies. (Formerly known as Kunrade Limestone.) The Kunderberg in Kunrade where this specimen comes from, is no longer accessible. It is a natural monument and collecting strictly prohibited. This one I got from a now deceased collector. Length of the internal mold is 14 cm.
