Comments:
Transitional Great White. This is the transitional form between Cosmopolitodus hastalis and Carcharodon carcharias. The cusplets may point to the fact that the animal was a juvenile. Possibly this could depend on the position?

Species: Carcharodon carcharias (Linnaeus, 1758)

Comments:
Rare large vertebra of a white shark. Vertebrae are hard to find because the cartilaginous skeleton of a shark is rarely fossilized. It also has some of its original matrix.
