Introducing myself ...

It all started when I found my first fossil of a sea urchin pin in a piece of flint in the northern part of The Netherlands. At that time I was 8 years old. The next holiday with my parents on the Swedish island of Oland, I found some trilobites. My parent have always supported me in collecting fossils. I collected fossils ever since. When I was 18 I began to study geology at the Free University in Amsterdam. In 2002 I finished my study.

Over the years I collected a pretty large collection. My collection is now containing over 9000 specimens. The fossils were collected at many different sites in Europe. Large collections came from Groningen, The Netherlands (mainly Silurian / Ordovician corals); many different fossils from Maastricht, The Netherlands; mainly Silurian corals from Gotland, Sweden; bivalves, gastropods, and shark teeth from Antwerp, Belgium, and Cadzand, The Netherlands.
